Qualificazione per la Coppa del Mondo in Spagna

WKF World head office confirm herewith, that “Republic of Belarus” is represented in the WKF – World Kickboxing federation by the Olympic Training Center “Staiki”.

The Mir Castle Complex is a unique monument of national culture of Belarus. In 2000 it was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Very famous is also the “MIR CASTLE Hotel”  in this amazing sport complex founded in 1520 (!) and hi recommended from WKF EUROPE head office!

Perhaps a venue for International referee seminar, congress meetings and more in near future!

The last WKF title fight took place on December 22nd in Hungary. Sanctioned by WKF HUNGARY.

Supervisor was our WKF PRO World president Mr. Istvan ROZMAN.

Venue was the famous “Sportcenter Nagyvenim”, the event was almost sold out!

The internationally good fight card had champions from Hungary, Austria and Serbia.

Top international fighters showed great performances in boxing, K1 and Thai boxing

Main fight was for the “WKF pro international K1 title” between Serbian Mirko JOVANOVIC and local hero Renàto GÒMAN from Hungary.

Weight category was Middleweight – 75 Kg / 165 lbs.

This fight was very clear and ended with a knockout in the first round.

New WKF pro international champion Renàto GÒMAN by KO in the first round after 1:45 minutes.

On the night of January 2, 2024, the bodies of 27-year-old kickboxing world champion Alexander Malafeev and his friends 26-year-old kickboxing trainer Artem Ivanov and 27-year-old Ruslan Shakhmardanova were discovered in one of the private houses in the suburbs of Tver, Russia.

The necessary investigations were ordered to determine the cause of death. All circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified.

Alexander Malafeev was WKF World Kickboxing Champion 2019. Bronze medalist of the 2021 World Championship, champion of the SCO Open Championship 2023.

For many compatriots, Alexander Malafeev was a role model in martial arts.

World Kickboxing Federation WKF expresses its sincere condolences to the athlete’s family and friends.

The official poster from WKF ARGENTINA has arrived!

 

Austrian World Champion Alexandra “GODZILLA” PETRE will step into the ring against the absolute No. 1 in Latin America and world champion Sabrina FLORES on November 25th in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires.

Since there are hardly any opponents in Europe – neither in K-1 nor in boxing – a long journey of around 22 hours has to be accepted.

If anyone has an opponent, Petre look forward to receiving a serious offer! 🙂

Flores is one of only 3 girls who won against our Alexandra. Back in Cairo 2021 (!) in light contact.

But Alexandra won against Sabrina in K-1. So the direct duel is 1:1

 

The fight is a highlight of the “Pan American Championships” –

comparable to our last European Championships in Trieste

or the “African Championships” in Cameroon.

Many nations from North, Central and South America are expected there.

A TOP chance for further fights in Latin America and perhaps in the USA. A promoter in Florida has already shown interest, and negotiations are continuing in Buenos Aires.

As always, the weight class is Ladies Heavyweight +66 kg, it follows K-1 rules, and the fight is scheduled for 5 rounds.
