WKF AUSTRIA  president Mrs. Tanja HELML is the host of the next WKF World referee seminar 2022 on October 21st to 23rd.

Venue is the amazing 4 star Plaza Hotel Wels.

This is the perfect weekend, just before the European Championships 2022 in Wels.

After more than 10 Years our World referee seminar back in Austria again.

We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa start in time with Visa procedure.

All International WKF referees, who not has attended the last seminars in Buenos Aires 2018 , Baia Mare 2019 or Cairo 2021 must extend their license 2022 in Austria.

The extended license is valid for three Years again.

WKF’s aim was and always will be to enjoy the sport of Kickboxing and martial arts as an international sport, without discrimination over nationality, race or ethnic origin.

The WKF head office strongly believes in and upholds an Equal Rights Policy with all its members and those who wish to participate in it. With such a policy we here, at WKF wish to create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy the sport of Kickboxing and martial arts.

Sport has no racial, social or political barriers, which means that it is the perfect way for all men and women, boys and girls to achieve amazing results, regardless of race, creed or colour.

The opportunity to represent one’s country in the name of sport at an international level is probably one of  the greatest achievements an individual can make.

The pressure that the competitors have at this level is enormous, and goes far beyond normal physical endurance.

To win, especially at such a high level, competitors will have to tap into inner resources that their years of training will have prepared them for.

What a great event on Saturday May 7th in

Worcester / UK with some very exciting

and entertaining fights.

 

The MMA European Title fight in Welterweight – 77 Kg

vs. British Jon DOODY was in the end

decided by a technical disqualification

 

and the Championship awarded to

 

Krzysztof POROWSKI

 

of Iceland.

 

For the first time, the state association WKF AUSTRIA has a first-class superlative kickboxing event in the City Eichgraben near Vienna.

The WKF Grand Prix – Wienerwald consists of 14 matches with 3 or 5 rounds of 2 minutes each.

The fighters of the preparatory fights come from Austrian clubs or other EU countries and are classified according to the union in categories B and C.

Preliminary matches consist of kickboxing in the K1 discipline and two classic boxing matches.

Boxing matches are sanctioned by GBF – AUSTRIA

The highlight is the international tournament for 8 players, in which 4 Austrian fighters will compete against 4 fighters from Europe through the KO tournament system.

The winner of the tournament can look forward to considerable prize money provided by the sponsors!

Another highlight of the evening is the heavyweight fight for the International Pro-Am WKF title. Here the strong Czech Jindřich KRAJCA defends his KO-winning title against the Polish Jakub SAJECKI, who finished his last fight in Mikolow, Poland, by KO in the first round
