Styrian Fight Night 5.0 in Bruck , Austria
Multiple World champion Karl PRODERUTTI – next title defense in Bruck an der Mur. The event on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Bruck an der Mur sports hall has long been confirmed.
The World Championship title fight is, as always, in K-1, Light Middleweight -72.3 kg.
All preparations are in their final stages, and the contracts for the World PRO title fight against the current number one in Latin America were signed at the end of November.
Daniel TORRES is currently ranked seventh in the WKF PRO world rankings.

Torres is coming directly from Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, with his coach, Luis Mediomundo.
Mediomundo is also the organizer of the upcoming World Championships in Colombia in October 2026.
Two PRO-AM European title fights have also been confirmed:
The Hungarian Girl Olah KINCSÖ competes for Austria and is currently ranked 5th in the world in the Atomweight -48 kg category, making her the highest-ranked Austrian competitor.

Her opponent is Renata DINU from Bucharest, ranked No. 4. The fight is for the WKF PRO-AM European title in K-1.
Another WKF PRO-AM European title fight has been confirmed on the fight card!
Cesar ZIDARESCU, ranked No. 12 in the world in the light middleweight -71 kg division, comes from the renowned Tai Shin Do Gym in Bucharest. He is one of the best Romanian fighters in this weight class and will certainly be a big and real challenge for the Austrian fighter, Felix ELLMAIER.
As a medalist at the European Championships, the Romanian is definitely not a pushover or a handpicked opponent! This is something that has unfortunately often been the case with smaller promoters in the past.
As in previous years, the first VIP tickets have already been sold, and a few tickets are still available for the stands!
WKF World Amateur President Carlos Suárez from Buenos Aires, has been confirmed as a referee and representative for Latin America and will be special guest and ringside in Austria.
Octopus 8 × BFC 86 combat sports tournament in Minsk
One of the most significant international events of the season is being prepared in Minsk – the Octopus 8 × BFC 86 combat sports tournament.
On February 13, Prime Hall will become the venue for a major sports union: two leagues – Octopus and BFC, two key federations – the Russian Kickboxing Federation and the Belarusian Kickboxing Federation, are joining forces to host a tournament of a qualitatively new level. The upcoming event is not a coincidence, but a logical step in a long journey.
T
he WKF World Cup in Minsk,
the Allazov Cup and the alliance with the Octopus league – each milestone has become a stepping stone towards achieving a completely new level of excellence, ultimately shaping a new developmental vector.
The tournament format includes 12 bouts:
6 fights under K1 rules and 6 fights under MMA rules.

The key focus is on professional K1 kickboxing, where spectators can expect pivotal confrontations and rematches as part of a match-up between the Russian and Belarusian national teams.
For the leading kickboxers of the two countries, the tournament will serve as a serious professional platform – an opportunity to make a name for themselves, strengthen their positions, and take the next step in their careers.

In addition to the sporting events, guests can look forward to a vibrant show program, musical accompaniment from the rock band KORBUT, interactive zones from partners, and the atmosphere of a grand fight night at Prime Hall.
12 bouts. International fighters. One arena. Octopus 8 × BFC 86 – February 13, Prime Hall. Start: 18:00.
full tournament card and more will be published soon – stay tuned for updates, an exciting fight night awaits us ahead

WKF EUROPE needs more female officials

WKF HEAD OFFICE work very hard in cooperation with our IRC-“International rules committee” to train our international officials and referees, to answer protests and requests for the competition rules and to develop our various WKF rules.

History has shown nothing is set in stone

Our last World referee seminar´s 2023 in Skofije, Slovenia, Alicante, Spain 2024 and Chisinau, Moldova 2025 appointed several new female WKF referees with international licenses.

Valid also for BOXING and BARE KNUCKLE division and for MMA!
Today we again have 19 female officials worldwide with an international WKF referee license.
The past has shown that:

we need more officially WKF licensed ladies in Europe and World wide.

To get the WKF license or to extend existing one, the next option is 2026 World referee Seminar in Cartagena, Colombia, before the next World Championships.
For the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia, we need more European Referees, male and female!

The next but one World referee seminar will be held now in October 2026, the weekend just before the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia.

As the world knows, our WKF was celebrating 60 years of existence last World Championships in Spain in 2024. We expect in Cartagena 2026 again more than 1.500 Champions, man and women.
Many TOP countries returned
to our WKF !
🙂
Without valid WKF license – without exception – you are not an official in our World Kickboxing Federation!!

Today WKF has more than 150 international licensed referees on 6 continents. Like all knowledge, more and more strong female champions and athletes are fighting. Of these today unfortunately, we only have
19 WORLD CLASS female officials

Our executive board therefore emphatically requests all WKF country presidents to send more male / female referees TOP European female experts with new referee licenses
After the International Referee Seminar in Minsk, three new female European referees with official WKF licenses were positively assessed. With our new referees, the number of internationally licensed female referees increases to 19.

The youngest in the trio is Ksenia NOVIKOVA from Belarus, who received the C license after the seminar and an excellent exam.
The Russian expert Liliya VOROGUSHINA has been active in the scene as a referee for a long time and has been awarded the International B License.
By decision of the WKF Board, Mrs. Olga Nikolaevna STRIZHAKOVA was awarded the highest WKF A license. She has many years of experience as an international referee and, in the opinion of many WKF board members present in Minsk, was one of the best referees, both as a judge and in the ring.

In addition to Russian, Ms. STRIZHAKOVA also speaks fluent Spanish und English and will be another important expert and sporting link between Europe and South America at the upcoming World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia.
The WKF Board congratulates all three ladies and is pleased to have other highly qualified international referees from Europe on the team.
The next Latin American Referee Seminar under the direction of Amateur World President Carlos SUAREZ will take place on November 11th and 12th, before the Pan American Open in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Numerous new licenses will be awarded there, and existing ones renewed. It’s well known that our Latin American sports friends always have top-trained officials.
