Once again, the Guggenberger Sports Hall in 2100 Korneuburg near by Vienna will host the next International WKF AUSTRIA TOP event on March 21, 2026.
The WKF Lower Austria State Association, with President Florian Bartl and “AUSTRIA BOXING UNION” President and Supervisor Daniel Z. Hirlau, are once again organizing an intentional tournament for BOXING, KICKBOXING, and MMA.
Many teams and big well-known clubs from neighboring countries have already confirmed their participation!

WKF continues to evolve – 6 titles at one show
For the very first time in history, an official international “WKF Bare Knuckle Hardcore” fight night will be held on February 14th in Korneuburg, Austria.

Furthermore, two world title fights in boxing are already on the fight card.
An international European ladies ranking fight in K-1 has also been confirmed.
The Austrian title fight between two young tough boys is confirmed.
The difference compared to other promoters is the official sanction from three genuine world governing bodies, who truly deserve the name.
Internationally, our WKF is experiencing a surge in popularity. We have gained many new and strong member nations in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states.
For the first time in WKF history, an international title fight will be sanctioned by two world federations!
A very special VIP guest is the World President of the ICO from England, Mr. Andrew HENNESSY. ICO Vice President and Supervisor Mr. Thierry MUCCINI is coming to Vienna from Bordeaux.
The work, competition rules, costs, and ultimately the numerous events held across six continents are highly valued internationally.
Our upcoming World Championships, from October 18th to 24th, will also bring many new nations, huge national teams and new friends to Colombia.
Everyone should understand that for genuine, internationally recognized title fights in combat sports, the sanction of at least one major world governing body is necessary. Otherwise, you’re just “world champion in your local town” and it’s nothing more than the well-known “puppet show” 🙂
Our new WKF World Partner “triple GGG” from Delaware in the USA has already sanctioned numerous events in Europe and worldwide for 2025/2026. This is one way to bring real fights back to the USA with the WKF in the future. A first WKF title fight in Los Angeles is already being negotiated for 2026! Further WKF events are already confirmed for 2026 in Dubai, Los Angeles, and for the first time in spring in Tokyo (!).
The collaboration with the WKF World Federation and “triple GGG” is already bearing fruit. The WKF World Federation’s reputable and serious work is increasingly appreciated worldwide. A deal is a deal, my friends.

For the second time our World referee seminar takes place in Latin America.
We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa start in time at least 8 weeks before with Visa procedure.

Our respected President Florin Mina was, is and will remain our only representative of WKF Romania within the World Kickboxing Federation.

” Historic Moment for the romanian kickboxing: Romania to Host the 2028 WKF Kickboxing World Championship!
Bucharest, November 1, 2025 — Romania writes history in the world of contact sports! Our country has officially secured the right to organize the 2028 WKF Kickboxing World Championship, one of the most important international events in the field.
Through the official representative of WKF-Kickboxing in Romania, Master Florin Mina, and Master Marius-Vasile Niță, leader of Niță Dynasty Contact Sports Association, Romania receives exceptional international recognition, consolidating it’s position on the global map of kickboxing.
The contract signing moment was honored by the presence of the President of the World Kickboxing Federation (WKF), Mr. Friederich Exenberger, who officially confirmed Romania’s designation as the host country for the 2028 edition.
“This is a huge achievement for the romanian sport and a testament of our work, passion, and dedication over the years. In 2028, Romania will be the global center of kickboxing—and we are ready to deliver a legendary show!” stated Master Marius-Vasile Niță, President of Niță Dynasty Contact Sports Association.
The 2028 WKF Kickboxing World Championship will bring thousands of athletes, coaches, and officials from over 100 countries to Bucharest, transforming Romania’s capital into the global epicenter of this spectacular sport.
The Dinastia Niță Contact Sports Association, in partnership with WKF-Kickboxing Romania, aims to raise the standards for organizing international competitions and offer a memorable experience to all participants and fans.”
Multiple World champion Karl PRODERUTTI – next title defense in Bruck an der Mur. The event on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Bruck an der Mur sports hall has long been confirmed.
The World Championship title fight is, as always, in K-1, Light Middleweight -72.3 kg.
All preparations are in their final stages, and the contracts for the World PRO title fight against the current number one in Latin America were signed at the end of November.
Daniel TORRES is currently ranked seventh in the WKF PRO world rankings.
Torres is coming directly from Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, with his coach, Luis Mediomundo.
Mediomundo is also the organizer of the upcoming World Championships in Colombia in October 2026.
Two PRO-AM European title fights have also been confirmed:
The Hungarian Girl Olah KINCSÖ competes for Austria and is currently ranked 5th in the world in the Atomweight -48 kg category, making her the highest-ranked Austrian competitor.
Her opponent is Renata DINU from Bucharest, ranked No. 4. The fight is for the WKF PRO-AM European title in K-1.
Another WKF PRO-AM European title fight has been confirmed on the fight card!
Cesar ZIDARESCU, ranked No. 12 in the world in the light middleweight -71 kg division, comes from the renowned Tai Shin Do Gym in Bucharest. He is one of the best Romanian fighters in this weight class and will certainly be a big and real challenge for the Austrian fighter, Felix ELLMAIER.
As a medalist at the European Championships, the Romanian is definitely not a pushover or a handpicked opponent! This is something that has unfortunately often been the case with smaller promoters in the past.
As in previous years, the first VIP tickets have already been sold, and a few tickets are still available for the stands!
WKF World Amateur President Carlos Suárez from Buenos Aires, has been confirmed as a referee and representative for Latin America and will be special guest and ringside in Austria.
One of the most significant international events of the season is being prepared in Minsk – the Octopus 8 × BFC 86 combat sports tournament.
On February 13, Prime Hall will become the venue for a major sports union: two leagues – Octopus and BFC, two key federations – the Russian Kickboxing Federation and the Belarusian Kickboxing Federation, are joining forces to host a tournament of a qualitatively new level. The upcoming event is not a coincidence, but a logical step in a long journey.

he WKF World Cup in Minsk, 
the Allazov Cup and the alliance with the Octopus league – each milestone has become a stepping stone towards achieving a completely new level of excellence, ultimately shaping a new developmental vector.
The tournament format includes 12 bouts:
6 fights under K1 rules and 6 fights under MMA rules.
The key focus is on professional K1 kickboxing, where spectators can expect pivotal confrontations and rematches as part of a match-up between the Russian and Belarusian national teams.
For the leading kickboxers of the two countries, the tournament will serve as a serious professional platform – an opportunity to make a name for themselves, strengthen their positions, and take the next step in their careers.
In addition to the sporting events, guests can look forward to a vibrant show program, musical accompaniment from the rock band KORBUT, interactive zones from partners, and the atmosphere of a grand fight night at Prime Hall.
