WKF K-1 World Grand Prix – big chance for any serious European promoter

At the last world congress in Buenos Aires in Latin America, the WKF World Kickboxing Federation presented the new league for the first time: 

“WKF WORLD GRAND PRIX”

This is for all our AAA WKF promoter only. Our WKF EUROPE  head office confirm the WKF WORLD GRAND PRIX in June 2024 in Austria.

What are the conditions to promote in Europe next WGP and to become AAA promoter level ?

International Champions from at least 3 continents!

Two air tickets for each foreign fighter and his corner man,

food and good Hotel, paid by the organizing team

Big Chance for any male / female European Champion to fight abroad !

International WKF licensed referee and supervisor, solely appointed by our WKF head office, TV contract (!) for the event and at least one professional WKF World title !

Sanction fee for the WKF World Grand Prix is part of negotiation.

For the WKF WORLD GRAND PRIX in Austria Champions from 10 countries and 4 continents in negotiation for the fight card.

Due to the worldwide COVID virus situation, the date had to be postponed to September 2023. The organizers in Austria have confirmed the “WKF WORLD GRAND PRIX” again. It’s good to have more time to register and prepare for our international champions.

China, Austria, Australia, Canada, Argentina, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Poland and more Europeans in negotiations …

This is again a cooperation with K-1 Fighting Network Austria !

International K-1 eight man tournament, plus  WKF sanctioned title fights, plus international Ladies fights, plus excellent show program, pretty ring girls and much more.

More than 100 fights with participating athletes from all over the island in just one day.

Organizer, Paphos Muay Thai & Mixed Martial Arts, head coach and WKF representative Christos NICOLAOU said that he is very satisfied of the support from the gyms all over Cyprus.

What gloves for PPF title fights ?

9610060WKF Semi HAndschuheBecause of so many requests WKF PPF we want to point out, that all brands of so called “open hands” are possible to use. Fingers and thumbs must be covered.

The use of 10 OZ boxing gloves however is not possible.

New team and leaders in our WKF BELARUS Minsk Region, REPUBLIC OF BELARUS.

The Staiki Olympic training center – the largest sports base to train athletes in over 20 sports.

Restaurant on the territory of the training center.

WKF World head office confirm herewith, that “Republic of Belarus” is represented in the WKF – World Kickboxing federation by the Olympic Training Center “Staiki”.

The Mir Castle Complex is a unique monument of national culture of Belarus. In 2000 it was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Very famous is also the “MIR CASTLE Hotel”  in this amazing sport complex founded in 1520 (!) and hi recommended from WKF EUROPE head office!

Perhaps a venue for International referee seminar, congress meetings and more in near future!

WKF pro international K1 title in Hungary

WKF international champion Renàto GÒMAN

The last WKF title fight took place on December 22nd in Hungary. Sanctioned by WKF HUNGARY.

Promoter: Rozman Boxing Promotion organized total 14 fights, 9 pro boxing, 2 new comer boxing and 3 K1 fights.

Supervisor was our WKF PRO World president Mr. Istvan ROZMAN.

Venue was the famous “Sportcenter Nagyvenim”, the event was almost sold out!

The internationally good fight card had champions from Hungary, Austria and Serbia.

Top international fighters showed great performances in boxing, K1 and Thai boxing

The women also showed great fights

Main fight was for the “WKF pro international K1 title” between Serbian Mirko JOVANOVIC and local hero Renàto GÒMAN from Hungary.

Weight category was Middleweight – 75 Kg / 165 lbs.

This fight was very clear and ended with a knockout in the first round.

New WKF pro international champion Renàto GÒMAN by KO in the first round after 1:45 minutes.
