On June 17, 2023, the Lower Austrian regional association of WKF AUSTRIA is once again bringing a top-class international kickboxing event of superlatives to Eichgraben.

The highlight is an international 4-man tournament in which Austrian fighters compete against TOP fighters from Europe in a KO tournament system.

This is also about the WKF Intercontinental title and belt !!! The winner of the tournament can also look forward to considerable prize money made possible by sponsors!

Alexandra “GODZILLA” PETRE will defend her World Champion title Heavyweight + 66 kg / + 145 lbs in K-1!

The opponent has not yet been determined, but initial negotiations have already started.

Last night’s fight between Giorgis and Giaz at La Maison Vraxos for the national title at Superheavyweight + 96.5Kg / 212 lbs under WKF K-1 rules was nothing short of amazing. With a closed distance and full action throughout the entire match, both fighters left everything they had in the ring.

Giorgis, known for his powerful strikes and powerful kicks , came out strong in the first round, landing several clean hits on Giaz.

Giaz, however, refused to back down and responded with some hard-hitting combinations of his own, keeping the fight close.

As the rounds progressed, the fight became increasingly tense, with both fighters refusing to give an inch.

Giorgis continued to push forward, landing powerful kicks and punches, while Giaz fought back with his own impressive strikes in boxing .

The final round was particularly intense, with both fighters giving it their all. Giaz seemed to have the upper hand, but giorgis refused to give up, landing some impressive hits that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats.

As the final bell rang, both fighters were exhausted and covered in sweat.

The judges’ decision was a close one, but in the end, Giaz was declared the winner, much to the delight of his fans.

The fight between Giorgis and Giaz was a true display of skill, strength, and determination. Both fighters showed incredible sportsmanship and respect for each other throughout the match, and it was clear that they both left everything they had in the ring.

Overall, the fight was a testament to the skill and dedication of these two incredible fighters, and it will no doubt be remembered as one of the most exciting matches in recent memory.

Without our permission he is still using our WKF contacts to pretend to be still member in WKF.

In the meantime, we have filed a lawsuit in Sydney with the court to end this nonsense once and for all. Anyone who visits and reads our website www.wkfworld.com will find posters of more than 1,000 events World wide in the past 30 years.

On Friday March 13th 2020, promoter Steve JEZ organized last international “JEZ FIGHT NIGHT” in Sydney.

This was a co-operation with local “MASA – Martial Arts Sport Association” , thanks to CEO John N. IOANNOU.

Main fight was for the WKF lowkick World Championship in Crusierweight – 88,2 Kg / 194 lbs . 

The very experienced and older Chris “the Sniper”  JOHNSON original from New Zealand, challenged the much younger Matt STAPLEFORD. 

After a tough battle in the ring, Stapleford was able to assert himself unexpectedly and was ahead of points in all rounds. A good body hit by Australian Matt in the third round ended the good fight of two big champions.

New confirmed world Champion Stapleford received the belt from the Australian continental director Rustam ATTAI and guest of honor WKF world president Fritz EXENBERGER.

Immediately after the fight, a title defense was agreed for Mat in Europe. Because of COVID-19, the title fight will take place in spring 2021. Austrian Florian BARTL is under negotiation as a possible opponent.

In Cairo August 2016, on the next meeting of our board, Robert W. was fired immediately unanimously by the board of directors !

Robert W. is NOT MORE MEMBER in WKF since August 2016 !

Because of the dismissal of our former Australian member the General assembly vote for Mr. Hans ROMANOWSKI / Brasil as new WKF General Secretary.
