Dimitris PAPAKONSTANTINOU – new World MMA director
is another Greek on the world association board.
He is coach of numerous professional Greek MMA fighters competing in UFC , Bellator, Cage warriors, Fight Night, King of the cage, Abu Dhabi warriors Oktagon etc.
Dimitris holds his masters degree in sports management by university of Peloponnese and several Black Belts as well.

Иван Деркаченко – Iwan DERKACHENKO, CIS supervisor
At the last World Congress in Alicante, Spain, the last CIS Supervisor Roman LOGISCH from WKF GERMANY was unanimously elected new WKF Secretary General by the 60 presidents present.
Ivan DERKACHENKO from Minsk, Belarus, was also unanimously elected as his successor by the Board.
WKF division World Presidents Carlos SUAREZ / ARG, Daniel HIERLAU / HUN and Annis DOMETIOU / GRE were pleased to confirm the appointment and look forward to a good cooperation.
Mr. Derkachenko is well-known and high respected as a manager and expert in our sport.
He will also be serving as a supervisor at the next upcoming WKF Championships in East and West and will therefore be the link between Eastern and Western Europe.

WKF COLOMBIA president Mr. Luis MEDIOMUNDO is the host of the next WKF World referee seminar In November 2026.
Venue is the amazing 4 star main Hotel in Cartagena.
This is the perfect weekend, just before the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia.
For the second time our World referee seminar takes place in Colombia.
We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa start in time at least 8 weeks before with Visa procedure.

On September 20, 2025, one of the largest international WKF tournaments will once again be held at the Guggenberger Sports Hall in Korneuburg.
The WKF disciplines for male and females will be K-1 and amateur BOXING. Sanctioned by the “AUSTRIA BOXING UNION”
Many downloads on the WKF EUROPE website demonstrate the great interest in the 2025 Austrian Open.
The weight check, WKF license, and medical check will only be conducted on Friday, September 19th , in the sport hall from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Video weigh-ins are not permitted in the WKF.
NO WEIGH-INS ARE POSSIBLE on Saturday, September 20
This event is open for cadets 15 – 18, women and men 18 +
of all federations, countries and teams!

Next World Cup in Minsk
The next World Cup will be held after the summer break from September 15-21 in Minsk, Belarus.
Eastern Europe will be represented by major teams.
EU citizens do NOT require a visa if they stay in Belarus for less than 30 days.

He is General Director of the Republican Olympic Center “Stayki”.
