president Mr. Rustam ALIMOV is the host of the next WKF World referee seminar 2025 on June, 21st to 22nd.
Venue is the amazing 4 star main Bernardazzi Grand Hotel in Chisinau.
This is the perfect weekend, just before the European Championships 2025 in Moldova.
First time ever WKF is guest in this beautiful and charming country.
We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa for Moldova start in time with Visa procedure.

The extended license is valid for three Years again.

As everybody know, the European Championship is coming up in June, 22nd to 29th, 2025

To avoid any misunderstandings on the mat or tatami, WKF head office would like to ask you kindly one more time to read carefully the WKF rule book for forms.
Today we have 6 categories for forms
Please register your national team for all FORMS and Kata , referees as well !
To see what is a traditional form, have a look in the two lists of forms.
What are the dress codes? When does the timer start e.g. for traditional forms with and without weapons ?
What is the time limit in creative forms or soft style forms?
Any traditional form may be adapted, it is still a traditional form. Also compiled (with parts of existing forms) form using traditional techniques is permitted.
All traditional Forms must be using traditional moves only. A traditional Form / Kata / Pommse / Hyong etc. must resemble a traditional work, an adaptation will be acceptable if added moves are of a traditional nature. Any so called “allstyle” form is not a traditional one!
For creative forms is just the division creative forms with music, with and without weapon.
Once again I kindly ask you read the rule book for forms – available in 4 languages! There you will find exactly what is a traditional form, where is a time limit, what is a creative form and so on.

WKF EUROPE needs more female officials
WKF HEAD OFFICE work very hard in cooperation with our IRC- “International rules committee” to train our international officials and referees, to answer protests and requests for the competition rules and to develop our various WKF rules.
History has shown nothing is set in stone!
Our last World referee seminar´s 2022 in Wels, Austria, 2023 in Skofije, Slovenia and in Alicante, Spain 2024 appointed several new female WKF referees with international licenses.
Valid also for BOXING and BARE KNUCKLE division and for MMA!
Today we again have 14 female officials worldwide with an international WKF referee license.
The past has shown that we need more officially WKF licensed ladies in Europe and World wide.
To get the WKF license or to extend existing one, the next option is 2025 World referee Seminar in Chisinau, Moldova, June 22nd, invitation is HERE.
For the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena. Colombia, we need more European Referees, male and female!
The next but one World referee seminar will be held now in autumn 2026, the weekend just before the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia.
As the world knows, our WKF was celebrating 60 years of existence of our last WKF World Championships in Spain in 2024.
We expect in Chisinau 2025 again more than 1.000 Champions, man and women. Many TOP countries returned to our WKF ! Without valid WKF license – without exception – you are not an official in our World Kickboxing Federation!!
Today WKF has more than 150 international licensed referees on 6 continents. Like all knowledge, more and more strong female champions and athletes are fighting
Of these today unfortunately, we only have
14 WORLD CLASS female officials
Our executive board therefore emphatically requests all WKF country presidents to send more female referees to Chisinau, the next seminar in Moldova on June 22nd 2025.

At the last World Congress in Alicante, Spain, the last CIS Supervisor Roman LOGISCH from WKF GERMANY was unanimously elected WKF Secretary General by the 60 presidents present.
Ivan DERKACHENKO from Minsk, Belarus, was also unanimously elected as his successor by the Board.
WKF division World Presidents Carlos SUAREZ / ARG, Daniel HIERLAU / HUN and Annis DOMETIOU / GRE were pleased to confirm the appointment and look forward to a good cooperation.
Mr. Derkachenko is well-known and high respected as a manager and expert in our sport.
He will also be serving as a supervisor at the upcoming European Championships June 22nd to 29th in Chisinau, Moldova, and will therefore be the link between Eastern and Western Europe.
WKF now open for new partners in Europe

Preparations are underway for the Belarusian Kickboxing Championship WKF April 16-19, 2025 in Minsk, at the Republican Olympic Training Center “Staiki”.
Local heroes KAZAKU Maksim and NECHITAILO Viktor are part of the team, as well as Belarus superstar Dmitri SHAKUTA.
Cristian “The Fastest” MILEA defend his World title
Grandmaster Florin Mina, President WKF ROMANIA and high respected WKF EUROPE Vice president announces the most spectacular event of the year, taking place in Romania.On May 10th 2025, local time 19:00, Centrul Sportiv Apollo from Bucharest will host Gala Dynasty Kombat – New Generation of Champions.
Promoters: Dinastia Nita, ran by Master Marius-Vasile Nita, a dedicated leader and a constant promoter for contact sports, together with WKF ROMANIA, will bring this show under the spotlight, 12 pro matches, 3 WKF belts.
